We have known Dena and her family for several years. She is (and always has been) one of the most responsible and trustworthy people we know. We have asked her to watch our Cocker Spaniel, Bonnie, a number of times while we have been out of town for a few days. Bonnie takes some time to warm up to people. However, she actually gets excited when Dena shows up at our house. I have seen Dena interact with many dogs ranging from ones she knows well to ones she has never seen before and ranging in size from a teacup Chihuahua to Great Dane. They always seem to warm up to her quickly and she loves all dogs. Our dog is now older and has some medical issues. We are very particular about with whom we leave our dog. We absolutely love having Dena watch our dog because we are certain that Bonnie will be well cared for and totally loved the entire time we are gone. Dena's personality and complete unconditional love of dogs make her a superb person for caring for dogs.
