Pet care experience
Hello my fine friends! I am so excited to work with you and your pets. I am a zookeeper at the Chattanooga Zoo and have been trained to work with every category of animal in my 10 years of experience. If your pets have special medications, personality tics, and odd ball behaviors, then I am prepared for them. I am also available to care for small mammals, birds, and reptiles. My costs are negotiable depending on amount of care needed per animal. Although I work a full time job, I am able to leave during lunch for midday visits. Dena was amazing! This was our first time leaving our dogs for an extended period and so naturally we were nervous. Dena made us feel so comfortable and I felt like I could actually enjoy the vacation instead of worrying the whole time. It’s nice to find a sitter who takes their time with your dogs seriously and gives them lots of love in your absence. So glad we found Dena!
Dena C was fabulous. This is the second time we have used Rover services but the first time Dena C came to watch Arthur. Dena was professional, friendly and she sent pictures and updates on how he was doing. We definitely want to have her watch Arthur in the future.

My house has a large living room with an attached kitchen that is open to all pets. Nothing harmful is left out and all furniture is pet friendly. I let pets stay out in these areas, unless otherwise instructed. Pets can sleep in my bed at night if they choose to. I have another dog that is kept in a separate part of the house at all times. I also have a few cameras to watch pets throughout the day.

Behavior and activity level will help me know how much play time is needed throughout the day. Medications should be given in detailed instructions. Special routines should be specified clearly for best care. Crate use should be explained if your pet has separation anxiety or any other need to be put up for a time.
A typical day
I own 1.5 acres of land and I live next to a recreational park, so I have lots of space for walks and play. Inside I have a large, long living room for play and lounging. Water is available at all times for pets. I typically do a morning walk and afternoon walk with a lunchtime visit if requested.

Availability
I have a full time job, but can come home during lunch for an hour. Ill be home in the evenings and will wake up early enough to care for your pets adequately. My days off are Fridays and Saturdays.
