Hey there, I’m Della! 👋🏼 I grew up with cats my entire life & have been a loyal dog aunt to many a furry friends over the years. In 2021, I joined the ranks of Covid pet owners and adopted a sweet border collie pup named Slinky. He is high energy, LOVES other dogs and we stay active every day with walks, runs and fetch around the neighborhood. Having a well-behaved dog is important to me, so it was imperative to train him early on. We went through private training and group lessons together. I consider myself an experienced dog mom, both for my own pup and for others. I frequently watch my cousins dog who is a pit bull mix, and we love hanging out with my best friend’s yellow lab. It’s always a puppy party in my back yard! 🎉

Della and Slinky have been a wonderful addition to my pups weekly routine. They are both super friendly, Della is laid back and Slinky is super excitable. My dog loves going to their house every week for a full day of play. Della has a great space for hosting pups. Highly recommend!
Della was great with Lily. Easy drop off/pickup and photo updates during the day. Slinky was also a great companion for Lily to play with during the day and I was glad they all got along well together!
Della is fantastic. She's on time, she was excited to meet Picco, she shared photos, and offered updates on Picco (who had been a little pukey earlier in the day that Della was scheduled to take him out for a walk). Plus, she's super nice. If I could award more stars, I would.
Della would be an amazing dog walker or dog sitter! She is very active and loves to share her walks and runs with a furry friend. Della works from home and has a great house and yard with room for dogs to safely play. She has watched my dogs, Lucy, Tucker, and Tater Tot many times over the past ten years and I always know my dogs will be well taken care of. Della treats my dogs as her own and shows them lots of love. Della’s dog, Slinky, would be an excellent companion to any dog. Slinky is well behaved, energetic, and loves to snuggle. He is easy going and gets along with all of my dogs!

In my home: Slinky does great with other dogs in our home after we meet outside! Dogs are allowed on the couch, only to lay down, not to play. I keep them out of the bedroom and Slinky sleeps in his crate. 💤 A crate-trained dog isn’t required. Ideally, dogs will sleep in the same room together. My home is free of any puppy hazards and I am always available to let dogs out as needed. We have lots of toys to share as well. In your home: Slinky does fine sleeping on a dog bed next to your bed, but a crate is always easy and available. He tends to go out every few hours and sleeps through the night just fine. He stays with friends and family often, making him an adaptable companion.

A typical day
We love to walk and run around Green Lake, Gasworks and the Burke. In the summer we paddle board and swim at dog-friendly beaches. During the day and on breaks we play fetch and stay stimulated with toys and puzzles!

Availability
I currently work from home with a pup of my own and a flexible schedule to make walks and play time a priority. 🏃🏽♀️ We go on a ~1.5 mile walk before 8am and try our best to get out for a short walk at lunch time. If it’s not too rainy out (and even if it is…) we like to run around the neighborhood. My back yard is fully-fenced making it the perfect place for dogs to play and relieve themselves.
