I had a big pet family growing up in rural Maine, but haven't made my own pet family since moving to Massachusetts. My husband is also fully Rover-vetted, and at least one of us can be home with your pets full time to ensure they get whatever attention they need. We have experience with cats, birds, rodents and reptiles (and farm animals!), and are comfortable giving meds, including insulin or other injections if needed. We specialize in aging and elderly dogs, including those with specialized diets and medical needs. We are comfortable keeping eyes, hands, and hearts with hospice pets nearing end of life. I'll stay in contact while you are away, and send photos and updates about how we get on. Caring for our dog friends has been a full time labor of love for the last 6+ years, so they are truly our first priority. We take care to arrange our lives so that your pets won't be left alone, and that whatever guidance you give us is thoroughly understood. We can tend to day to day home events during our stay such as getting the mail, watering plants, letting in housekeeping staff and accepting deliveries.
