Pet care experience
Exercise. Boundaries. Affection. That is how I care for my pup, in that order. When I first got Blue I placed in her in beginner obedience classes and still use the skills we learned in class to this day. It takes lots patience and effort to properly care for a pup but I understand life can get busy but I am here to help! I currently work at CSU in the office 9am - 5pm on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. I work from home Thursday and Friday. Due to my schedule I don’t think caring for puppies is ideal at this time. I do have more experience with pitbulls although I can work with all furry friends, big or small. If your pup is willing to romp with my pibble Blue, even better! I’ve made my hybrid schedule work by collaborating with the owner’s neighbors or friends close by to the home. Low maintenance dogs with doggie doors tend to be ideal for those long days I’m in the office.

Delia took excellent care of our dogs while we took a short trip to visit family out of state. She came out ahead of time for a meet and greet where she met our pups and learned the house and their needs. Delia is relaxed and easy going which was a bonus for our pups who tend to be fearful of new people. She provided us with updates and pictures during her time with our pups. She was provided a complex schedule based on the needs of our dogs and the two fosters we were caring for at the time and she managed them without any issues. It was such a gift to be able to get away and relax for a couple days knowing that our dogs would be well cared for in our absence. We will definitely reach out to her in the future to watch our fur-babies!

Delia was responsive to my questions, sent pics and updates of Winnie and let me know Winnie wasnt eating during my absence and if there was anything she could do to encourage her to eat. Winnie seemed content and happy in the pictures. I'd recommend Delia and will book her again.

Blue has free range of my house when I’m gone. However that was not always the case as I had to kennel her for several years. I’m keen on upholding a regular schedule for her as far as bathroom breaks, food and walks to ensure she stays out of trouble.

I am pretty flexible with dogs but would prefer those who are comfortable being left by their owners and comfortable with strangers. I am open to meet and greets to help curb any potentially anxiety.

I will take your dog around their usual stomping grounds around the neighborhood or with your permission to new parks or trails to explore some new areas.

Availability
I have full time hybrid schedule and am fairly flexible. I do have to be in the office Monday thru Weds. With my commute to Fort Collins this can turn into a fairly long day therefore a home with a doggie door or a friendly neighbor to let the pup out would be best. Thursday- Sunday I can be with your pup as long as needed.
