Delanna has been a wonderful caretaker to my dogs and her own, and one particular story I like to share is about Maddy. I adopted Maddy, a pretty one-eyed hound dog from our local SPCA, not totally aware of all the work that can go into training and bonding with a shelter animal. She was very neurotic, hated being alone and we were having issues house training her. I work full time and realized I could not give Maddy all the attention she needed, and so I turned to Delanna, who gladly took her in. Within a few weeks Maddy was calm and happy, fully house trained, putting on weight after starting out extremely skinny, and thriving. When Maddy had to go in for surgery after complications with her spaying, Delanna laid with her all night, knowing she wouldn't want to be alone and watching out for any side effects of her anesthesia. Rey is another dog I've watched Delanna bond with and care for. When her previous owners couldn't keep her any longer, she gladly adopted Rey and trained her up. I have never seen a dog love their owner so much. I always recommend Delanna to my friends who need a pet sitter. She has experience with large breeds and small, has no issues working with breeds others consider dangerous and is an all around animal lover. This is something she is passionate about, and I'd love to see her business thrive.
