Safety is always my number one priority. During walks, I ask that your pet has a secure harness and leash. I also like to have your preferred veterinarian on file, along with the nearest emergency clinic, so I’m fully prepared in case anything unexpected happens.

Please let me know if your pet is potty trained and if they have any triggers, fears, or anxiety. I’d also love to know their personality and energy level so I can match how I care for them. The biggest thing for me is your pet’s routine. Feeding times, potty schedule, walks, and sleep habits all help me keep things consistent for them. Since I do work during the day, it’s important that you let me know if your pet needs to be checked on in the middle of the day or can’t be left alone for long periods. That way I can make sure I’m the right fit and your pet gets the care they need. Also, please share your vet’s information and let me know about any medications or special care instructions.
A typical day
I try to keep your pet’s day as close to their normal routine as possible. In the morning, I’ll take care of things right away like potty breaks, fresh water, and feeding if needed. I always make sure they feel comfortable and settled before I leave. For dogs, I include walks, playtime, and attention depending on their energy level. Some dogs love to play and be active, while others just want company and a calm environment, so I adjust to what they need. I also make sure they get time to relax so they don’t feel overwhelmed. I work full-time locally, so I’m always there in the mornings and evenings to spend quality time with them. On my days off, I’m able to give more time for longer walks, playtime, and extra attention. My goal is just to make sure your pet feels safe, happy, and as comfortable as possible while you’re away.

I always send updates with photos so you can feel confident your pets are in good hands. I know how nerve-wracking it can be to leave them with someone, and I do everything I can to give you peace of mind while you’re away.

Delaney was absolutely amazing! From the first meeting and how respectful and understanding she was to her very last check in! Our pup is nervous with new people and she was so patient and kind. It wasn’t long before he was trying to hug and play with her. She was prompt on arrival and was great with updates. All our rules and times were followed! Our house look exactly how we left it! Thank you very much we will certainly book again!
Delany was able to help us with a last minute booking over the Christmas holiday. Our animals instantly took to her as she is a sweet person that knows how to show them love and affection. She sent us some great photos that showed our animals were happy and gave us peace of mind while we were missing them. We will be using her again on our next vacation.
Our pup who is generally very shy and scared of strangers loves Delaney! We feel so fortunate to have such a responsible, caring, and trusting individual to take of our dogs at home while we are away. She will be our sitter for as long as she’s available!
