I grew up with golden retrievers in the house (so walking excitable, high energy dogs is second nature), and them moved to Baltimore and small apartments have always kept me from having dogs of my own. I've found that watching other people's animals has helped me from going totally crazy and has always been the sort of work I genuinely look forward to doing. I've been living with cats for the past couple of years (and have really learned to love them!), and recently even adopted one of my own, so I feel equally comfortable caring for and interacting with cats. I have experience watching multiple animals at once, as well as with watching special needs animals, and feel totally comfortable with any special animals an animal may have as long as I have the opportunity to meet them before I'm left alone with them. I find that makes everything easier for the animal, their owner, and me. I'll so gladly come watch your home and hang out with your animals.
