Delaney has a heart for dogs like no other. She cares for them as she would herself! Delaney is a very hard and determined worker. When she worked at the local animal shelter, I would occasionally go volunteer and I got to see a lot of her sincere compassion towards the dogs and cats. She loved going to work and was always so positive about going to visit all her doggie friends at the shelter. She treats every animal she sees with so much respect and love. It is incredible to see the relationship she has with all animals, even the ones that are blind, deaf, and injured. She has also watched the two dogs I have and is an excellent caregiver. Delaney has proven to be a considerate and capable caregiver for animals. She has over a year’s experience working at a no-kill animal shelter caring for both dogs and cats where her duties included walking dogs of all sizes and ensuring the dog pens were clean and the dogs were fed and watered. She gave them baths and socialized with them to prepare them for eventual adoption. She even arranged for the adoption of a hearing-impaired dog who had been at the shelter for three years and transported the dog to her adopted family two states away. Delaney has volunteered at public dog wash events to raise funds for homeless animals. She has also cared for strays until their owner could be contacted or a home could be found for them. She has also care for dogs in people’s home while they were on vacation. Delaney has also cared for her own dogs as she has had dogs in her house since she was a child. She has trained here pets and made them a part of her family. I highly recommend Delany for any position of caregiver especially those position responsible for the care of animals.
