Pet care experience
Doggie day care/Boarding/Walking I recently had to make a change from my full time F&B career and decided to pursue my true passion, thus creating Jax-Tails! Giving me the opportunity to spoil your fur-baby all day and rest assured they will be given my undivided attention. Doggie Day Care or Boarding, I can host ONE family at a time. I am available everyday to come and take them on a walk. I also have 2 cats and have a private suite (spare bedroom) equipped with the kitty mansion Bel Air cat tree. I can only host ONE cat family at a time. I just want to be there for your pet when you cannot! My goal is to ease your mind when you have to be away and just know that I will be treating your fur baby as if they were my own, like family.

Deidre took amazing care of Jules over Christmas. We needed a short notice
We needed a last minute sitter for our puppy over a holiday weekend and Deirdre had no problem with taking our puppy in so last minute! She stayed with her for 4 nights and we got daily updates, pictures, and videos which made us so happy and assured that she was having a great time and getting lots of play and exercise. Deirdre's dog, Buster, was super sweet with our puppy and they became best pals. Our puppy was also on medication and Deirdre had no issues with giving it to her twice a day and updating me so that I know she had gotten it. Bonus - she has a huge fenced in back yard for dogs to run around and play! We will definitely use her again!
Deirdre was great; Frank liked her immediately and it was nice to see the walk they went on, in and out times and the pictures. Will use again!
Deirdre was great! She sent me pictures and kept me updated during the day. My puppy was exhausted afterwards and was sad to leave. Highly recommend!

I do not have a fenced in yard but your dog will always be on a leash. I walk my dogs twice a day so they get plenty of exercise!

I love all dogs so I don't have any preferences in their breed. However I do need to know how they are with other dogs like my Buster? Are they a trained for walking on a leash? What are their triggers? Are there any issues? Do they climb counters, jump on people, beg for food? Do they bark at the mailman, pedestrians, other animals? I ask because I I have a ton of windows. None of these are deal breakers I just want to know as much as I can so that I may make adjustments to suit your puppy.
A typical day
I love walking around my neighborhood with Buster and tossing his favorite ball in my backyard with him. His favorite game is playing tug of war. After many broken ropes we have found the indestructible toys for hours of fun play! Now that the weather is getting warmer I will be getting a sprinkler and a baby pool that serve dual purposes; as a pool and as a tub so that I may return your puppy in good condition; happy, clean and exhausted.

I am currently working part time so will have plenty of time with your dog. I have 2 dogs and 3 cats but my house has plenty of room.
