I do work full time from home with only a few days in the office per month. I can do drop offs or pick ups during the work week during the day. Only on the days that I am in the office does drop off need to take place after 5 pm during the week. I am very flexible for weekend drop offs and pick ups, if you know your times please share as it helps me plan my day. At this time I am not accepting any new clients, only repeat clients. I only host tiny and small breed dogs. I have recently moved and now live in a Townhouse. I no longer have a fenced yard but the neighborhood is dog friendly and there are plenty of places for walks. As a result of the move, all guest dogs must arrive with a harness and a leash and must be able to walk on a leash. The new house is a multi level home, so all dogs need to be able to handle one set of stairs which is 7 steps. If the guest dog weighs less than 20 pounds ,and can't do steps, I can carry them up and down. Since I'm now in a smaller place with an HOA, I have to limit the number of dog guests to 1 at a time, with the exception of 2 from the same family. The guest dogs need to be house broken or crate trained, males will need to wear belly bands until I can assess whether they will attempt to mark inside the house. I can no longer host dogs that bark excessively out of respect for my neighbors. I do work full time M-F and since I am primarily at home, I can get guests out for short walks during work hours and longer walks before and after work. I have a 17 year old daughter, who will be going off to college come fall 2024. There are no resident dogs in the house but there is 1 young cat that is dog friendly. If your dog is not cat tolerant or will bark at the cat, we are unfortunately not the host for you. If your dog is crate trained please bring your crate it helps the dog feel more comfortable if he or she is in her own crate. I do have a spare crate that if you prefer you can just bring their bedding and we can use my crate. I can administer oral medication as well as Sub Q fluids and diabetic injections. I live 3 miles from a 24 hour Vet Emergency hospital. All dogs must be on a flea preventative treatment and should be current on vaccines and heartworm prevention.
