Deirdre has been raised with dogs. There has never been a time in her life when she didn't have a dog, mainly collies and German shepherds. She loves all animals. She has a strong work ethic. She would make an exceptional dog walker. She is also an exceptional swimmer which keeps her in great shape to handle even power dogs.

Deirdre comes from a family of dog lovers. From her parents, to aunts, uncles and grandparents. Her parents are on their 3rd collie as I am on my fourth German Shepherd. Deirdre has grown up with all kinds of dogs, especially very sweet and lovable collies to my current 2 year old German Shepherd. She has complete control over my Shepherd who can be a bit rambunctious at times. He adores her. Deirdre and I have been watching "The Dog Whisperer" for years now and Caesar Milan has actually taught us how to train dogs. She is an affectionate person and dogs can sense that but she also can be tough if the need arises. Dogs know that Deirdre is the "alpha" and respect her for that.
