Pet care experience
Your dog is a little sad, because you can't be home. He or she is also a little stressed, because the routine is different when you aren't there. Give me the outline of your dog's routine, and I'll do my best to duplicate it. I'll never be you, but I'll do my best to reduce your dog's anxiety (and yours) by providing familiarity, love and security until you return home. Having enjoyed a professional career, I've been there, too -- travelling for work and last minute changes. It was hard to find reliable and compassionate care. Kennels were never an option for us. I'd love to meet you and your dogs and cats. Let's see if we're all a match! Ask me about my dog, Mandy.

Dee has been a blessing to me and my little ones. Knowing we were new to the area, she made it so easy to trust my dogs' care in her hands as I returned home for a funeral. From the first moment they met her they were taken by her warmth and affection, and I knew right then I made the right choice for my first booking through Rover. She was also gracious enough to give me advice ranging from vets in the area to specific care tips for my little ones. The cherry on top was reading the lovely note she left for me as I returned home from an emotional trip. I know my little ones had a great time with her and I'm sure they'd love to spend time with her again. I recommend Dee to anyone who is looking to have someone loving and caring watch their dogs, and I look forward to booking her again in the future!
This letter is in reference to the amazing doggie mommy, Dee Merica. I have known Dee for about 6 years. When I first met Dee, one of the things that stood out was her great love and compassion for animals. From her loving spoiling nature for her own pet family, to the way she cares for other people's pet family, as her own. She instills great love and discipline with animals and maintains a stress free environment. You will know your beloved pets are in trusted hands. I have learned to recognize and respect the above mentioned attributes and highly recommend Dee for your pet sitting needs.
Dee is such an animal lover and will go to any ends to make sure her poodle and kitties are happy. She comes with years of pet experience and also has reached out to friends and family and offered to help sit, train and care for their pups. Dee has a huge heart and is always willing to help others!
Dee is one of the most warm, loving people I know. She has a tender heart for dogs, and takes great care of them in her beautiful home. She is friendly and devoted to her work. You can trust that your pet will be in excellent hands with Dee!

Pets are part of the family. It's important they are with their pack. They need to know the rules for their safety and security. They also need treats for jobs well done. But let's face it....nothing replaces tummy rubs and behind the ears scratches. Get that leg going.
Information DEE M. would like to know about your pet
Is there a comfort level for walking? Pace? Distance? Does your dog have a fear of other dogs? What are his/her warning signals for fear or anxiety - like panting, pacing or hair up on the back? What is his favorite playtime activity, and does he have a favorite toy? What healthy issues does your dog have? Is he a grazer or gobbler when he eats? Does he squat once or often? Does he have bathroom anxiety? Yes, it's a thing . . . really.
A typical day
Play time is the best time. Exercise, fresh air and needing a nap afterwards are important for every dog. Tell me what your dog's favorite activities are. Fetch? Walking? Tug of War? Hide and Seek? A favorite toy? Is s/he curious? Does s/he need mental stimulation. (My standard poodle does.)

I'm a creature of habit, and I bet your pup is, too. Weekends are a bit more relaxed. It's important your dog's schedule stays close to when you are home. Otherwise, the purpose of home sitting is defeated.
