Pet care experience
Hello and welcome to our page! My name is Dee and I am a proud fur momma of 2 pups, Izzi and Bux who are both Schnauzers. Up until recently, I’ve had 3 dogs, a German Shepherd Lance, whom you see in pictures, unexpectedly gained his wings and crossed the rainbow bridge in August 2022. It’s been a very tough loss and having Rover clients has been a blessing of mine. I love being there for other fur parents and have formed some incredible bonds with my furry clients who are now my regular visitors.

Thank you for all the loving care of my golden retriever Sidney on over a week vacation. I appreciated all the videos and pictures!! Will call you again when I need a sitter!
Dee took wonderful care of our Vizsla for us while we were traveling! She sent multiple pictures and videos everyday so we could see him playing and running around! He had a couple buddies to play with, his own bed to lay in, and Dee even had some extra toys and bones for him to play with and chew on! I love that Dee requires vet records, a bath, and a meet and greet before sitting - made me feel comfortable that she held high standards for the dogs she takes! We will definitely use Dee again!!!!!💯
Dee is amazing! Our pup looooves going to her house. She is so good with her and gives her lots of playtime and attention :-)
Dee is exceptional! This was our FIRST ever Rover experience and she exceeded all expectations. We're so pleased and Enzo was so happy that I truly don't think that he wanted to come home with me after his stay. Dee was very kind in sending lots of videos and pictures which showed how happy Enzo was, all the time she spent playing with him and how well he got along with her pups. Dee also keep me informed with updates throughout his stay. We're beyond thrilled! Thank you Dee! Enzo will be back (o:

SAFETY We prefer to meet and greet at our local park - Brecksville Reservation, or Mejier Park in Seven Hills to make sure your pups and my pups are a mutual fit. We want all our four-legged guests to feel safe and comfortable with our pack. The safety of your and my pups is my #1 priority, so for that, we have a fenced-in yard, multiple doors/gates, and crates to accommodate successful integration and make sure it’s a smooth transition into a “home away from home”. I also ask that your pup has all their vaccines and flea/tick prevention, an updated address and phone number, and if they have a microchip - make sure it’s registered as well. IMMUNIZATIONS To keep all the pups protected, the following vaccinations are required: Rabies, DAPP (a.k.a. DHPP - Distemper, Adenovirus type 1 (Hepatitis), Adenovirus type 2 (respiratory), Parainfluenza and Parvovirus), Bordetella, Leptospirosis, Canine Influenza. It ideally needs to be completed yearly or if never had been vaccinated before - at least 2-3 weeks prior to being boarded. (So the immunization fully kicks in prior to your pup’s boarding and you can watch for adverse reactions in your pup.) ACTIVITIES As far as activities - we have a large fenced-in backyard where pups can stretch their legs and run around in the grass, I love watching them do zoomies or play tag with each other. We also frequent the local park, my parent's home, and dog-friendly stores like Home Depot. Your pup goes where I go, just like mine would! However, for the times when I need to leave my home without them, I do ask that your pup is crate trained so I can safely leave them in it. Thank you so much for checking in, and we are looking forward to hosting your pup!

Information Dee K. would like to know about your pet
Let me know if your dog has any special needs or behaviors that I can account for to make sure they are the most comfortable during their stay. - What is their feeding schedule? - Potty breaks preference? - Their usual wake up /bed time? - Are they current on Vaccinations / Flea preventatives? - Do they have any bad habits (chewing, scratching)? - How do they get along with other animals? - Are they crate trained? - Do they like car rides? - Are there things that make them afraid/ uncomfortable? - Are there things that make them extremely happy? - Do they have any restrictions (physical or emotional)?
A typical day
While in our care your pup will get stimulated physically and mentally. We'll play a bunch of games, check out all the new smells in my quiet neighborhood with plenty of wide and safe sidewalks, and explore a big park (Brecksville Reservation) not far from my house. We may even try to practice learning some new tricks!

EXPERIENCE I’ve been doing Rover for over 2 years, but have been around animals my whole life, and with dogs for over 10 years. I love everything dog related, psychology, training, animal behavior and I had 2 of my 3 pups receive AKC CGC certificates (canine good citizen) and Izzi is on the way to becoming a therapy dog so we can visit nursing homes and children’s hospitals to spread more puppy love. I have experience with different kinds of breeds from sweet and gentle Labradoodles, Spaniels, and Goldens to strong and feisty Pitbulls, Dobermans, and Rottweilers. All shapes and sizes of pups are welcome as long as there is no history of separation anxiety and aggressive behavior towards humans or animals. SCHEDULE I work remotely, which makes me fully available for boarding during the week and most weekends. ACCOMMODATIONS We welcome puppies at any age as long as they are crate-trained / housebroken. Shorter visits can be accommodated for puppies still in the process of being housebroken. PLEASE NOTE: There will be an additional $10 charge per day for the pups that aren’t crate-trained/housebroken to offset the cost of cleaning and supplies when they have accidents. (Standard rate $55 per night, non-housebroken pups $65 per night).
