My wife and I have been house and farm sitting and boarding pets in our home for family, friends, and friends-of-friends for years. We finally decided to offer our services to anyone in need through Rover! We recently had to say goodbye to our beloved Golden Retriever, Duke, and have found that loving your furry babies is very therapeutic until we find our next four-legged companion. We have a partially fenced-in backyard, but we never leave pets unattended while outside and have never had an escapee! Being retired means I’m very flexible and we can take day care and boarders early or late. No set hours. And it also means I’m with your furry ones all the time. For house sitting I will always treat your home as my own. I can also help with putting out garbage, bringing in mail, or even light yard maintenance. Janice works from home so both of us are usually here 24x7. She sometimes joins me for house sitting as well. Your pets are never starved for attention when she’s around!

Declan did a great job dog sitting our dog in our home. He came over a couple of times before we left so Cali could start feeling comfortable as this was the first time we were using Declan and Janice. Declan sent pictures and updates of Cali throughout our vacation, which we appreciated. It was a pleasant surprise to see the linens and towels washed and folded when we got home, especially when we have all the vacation laundry to do. I really liked Declans easy manner with Cali. I would highly recommend him and will use him the future for our dog sitting needs.
Very happy with Declan and Janice. Lucy seemed so comfortable with them. We left her there for four nights. Lucy has separation anxiety and they are home all the time. They don’t have or take any other pets, so Lucy got all the attention. They updated us every day and got back with us quickly if we had any questions. Would definitely use them again.
Janice and Declan were awesome with my little girl, Ginger! From our first meeting to the actually day sitting appointment, I felt their warm personality toward us and knew Ginger would be in amazing hands. I wish I could give them 6 stars!!! Many thanks Janice & Declan! Ginger already told me she wants to visit soon! :-)
Our puppy enjoyed the care of Declan and Janice. We enjoyed getting photos/updates and knew he was in great hands! I would highly recommend them.

I’d like to know if the dog has a previous history of aggressiveness or frequent relapses with house-breaking? (Anything we need to keep a close eye on?) Also if they do well in a car for rides to the park or beach for walks?
A typical day
We have very little traffic in our neighborhood and there are side walks on both sides of all the neighboring streets, so short or long walks are a dawdle. There are a few parks nearby as well for those who like to chase balls.
