Pet care experience
I began doing pet sitting in 2016 for family & friends, and that was most of my sitting experience until I began my dog training certification. Now I’ve been in pet care professionally for two years, and have had my dog trainer certification for half of that.

Declan has been great so far. I liked that I was able to see the length of the visit with the pups, pictures etc On the app. Declan had some additional idea to keep my pups entertained/ challenged with me being gone during the day.
Declan was a great sitter! Look forward to working with him in the future. Would highly recommend him and what he offers your animals. It is hard to find someone as good as him, and we are lucky to have him!
Declan was fantastic with Maverick. He has helped his transition in a new home and spent time with him helping obtain good manners! Will continue to use Declan in the future for Maverick’s needs!!

I make sure to get an exact outline of what is expected/allowed for the pet, and am not shy about requesting elaboration if there’s any confusion on my part. Additionally, I like to do what I can to keep them mentally stimulated with games, activities, and some light obedience training/reinforcement so they can hopefully carry that good behavior over to their daily life.

Allergies, diet, what they may be afraid of, exactly who they play nice with and how well-socialized they are, particularly given the limitations Covid standards placed on us at the time of many pets’ adoptions and upbringing.
A typical day
I try to go somewhere new - dogs adore new smells, it’s like their version of television. I’m always a big fan of the dog park, but if it’s just us in the house, I’ve seen how fun a scent-hunting game can be for a pup. There are lots of things to do that are entertaining for the both of us.
