Pet care experience
Pet loving family with many years experience caring for and owning dogs and cats. We’ve had a German Shepherd and currently own a very active Portuguese Water Dog and 2 cats. We love to go on walks in our neighborhood and local parks and also play in our backyard playing fetch with frisbees or balls. We have experience giving medications as well. I’m a retired teacher’s aide who worked with special needs kids. I’m now home most of the time and available to care for your dogs and take them on walks etc. My husband travels a fair amount but when not working is also around to help out with the care and entertainment of your pet! We have a fenced in backyard and a dog friendly neighborhood that easily allows for daily walks. We also like going to local parks for walks. We have an energetic, friendly Portuguese Water Dog and 2 cats. We can crate as necessary and also use baby gates to separate dogs if needed to give them some rest time.

Both of our dogs enjoyed the personal attention and many walks. The updates and pictures during our 2 week vacation were much appreciated.
Debra & Doug watched our 2 year old back lab while we were on a week long vacation out of the country and I have nothing but positive things to say. We recover daily updates and pictures, he had a blast playing in their large fenced in yard with their dog and I never had to worry the whole time we were gone. Definitely will use them again and recommend.
Deb was awesome! She was so kind to my dog, Josie, and listened carefully to all her care needs. She was extremely flexible and willing to help out when we had to return later from vacation due to flight cancellations. She sent lots of great photos of Josie so I knew she was having a good time. I would highly recommend Deb and we will definitely be asking for her help again when we need care for Josie.
Buster seemed to be right at home and communication was great.

We are happy to do a meet and greet ahead of time to make sure our dogs will get along well during your dog’s visit with us! We also have 2 cats so can only watch dogs that at least get along with cats okay.
A typical day
We have a large fenced in backyard that’s perfect for running around and playing fetch games. We are a very active family and if your dog likes going on walks (or even jogs) we can do that either around our neighborhood or at local parks. Our active Portuguese Water Dog (Luna) usually gets a couple walks per day plus playtime in the backyard.
