Fenced property plenty to explore

Pet care experience

Dogs are part of a family. We know how hard it is to work, travel, and ensure pets are cared for. Being able to provide that service for others is a great way to pay it forward for all of those who over the years were there for our pets when we needed them. With Bill working out of our home, that allows us to be 24/7 present. Our two bloodhounds love being home, being able to explore the property when the urge hits them. We've raised dogs, bred dogs, trained puppies, trained dogs, shown dogs, even cared for dogs in the last weeks and days of their life. Feeling loved, cared for and next to the humans they are innately designed to tend to. We would be honored to help care for you pets when your schedule doesn't allow you to. Bill and Deb E.

Deborah and William were wonderful, and did a great job looking after my very excitable pup! Deborah could sense my nervousness leaving her and sent me plenty of updates throughout the stay so I was at ease the whole time Penny was with them. They have a great set up and a wonderful yard for pups to play and exercise in! I would definitely recommend and will use again if I’m ever back in the area!

They were great for my young lab. No issues. Enjoyed the photos.

I was a little nervous leaving my 5 month old puppy for the first time with a rover service but I couldn’t have chose a better place. They were great with my puppy and very reassuring. He had a blast with their big back yard, pond and two hound dogs. They sent a bunch of pictures and updates to let me know how everything was going. I would use them again and recommend them as well.

It was our first time going out of town since having our 6 month old puppy and Deborah and Bill made leaving easy on such short notice. Milo was well cared for and we received plenty of updates throughout our time away. We will be contacting Deborah and Bill again next time we need to go out of town!

Information Deborah & William E. would like to know about your pet

We would want to know their routines, how they communicate and respond best to communications, what are some of their favorite things to do for play/exercise, what sorts of trouble can they stir up that we need to watch for, what causes them to be edgy or fearful, how do you know they are happy and content. We would want to discuss any persistent aggressive behaviors prior to accepting. Dogs with health issues require notes from Vet to ensure other dogs are not at health risk by exposure. Owners are required to bring food for the safety of the pet.

A typical day

Our property is entirely fenced. We have a pond that can be explored. We have a decks for sunning, shade trees for napping, plenty of sticks to fetch, balls to chase, and over 2000 square feet of home for playing, lounging, or simply enjoying life. Leather couches, wood flooring and plenty of warm, soft blankets make our ranch a dog vacation dream. Dogs get to chose if they want to be in, or out; up or down; sleeping or playing.

We both work from our home. So its easy to incorporate the routines already in place or help you establish routines. Dogs make the transition to new spaces best when familar routines exist. So we follow your routine. Puppies flourish when consistant and predictable routines exist. Its our specialty.
