PLEASE READ ALL THE WAY THROUGH! Hello there and welcome to our profile. My name is Deborah. My daughter's name is Emilie and we host pets here through Rover. We've owned dogs and cats our whole lives. We have been watching dogs in our home as guests for about seven+ years. We have recently relocated to Iowa from California, yes quite a change, but for the good and we are loving it. Even made it through our first winter. (smile) Unfortunately we do not have the space to have your pups stay with us, at least not for now. (we are working on it), however, we can provide dog walking, drop-ins and over nighters in your home for either your dog/s or cat/s. We can even do others critters if need be as long as we stay within the Rover guidelines. Our goal for your precious pet while you are away is to provide a safe, warm, and comfortable environment. The last thing you need to do is worry that your pet is not safe or happy. We will always treat your dog like one of the family, like a grandparent or cousin visiting or like best friends coming by to play or stay over. (sometimes it's like that). MEET and GREETS: This is a great way for us to get to learn a little bit about each other and to see if we are a good fit for you and your pet/s. This is also a good time for you to share your expectations, medical conditions, feeding instructions, quirks and such. WALKING: For dog walking we can/will provide 30/60 minute walks. We can also take your dog over to the dog park for some off leash running around. These options are entirely up to you and can be discussed during a meet and greet or by just sending a message to us anytime. During the walks, we will have water and clean portable water bowls. We can provide doggie bags, but extras are always welcome. _______________________________ OUR DOGS: LOUIE is an American Bull Dog/ Dalmatian mix. ( Bullmatian) She is nine years old. She is humble, sweet, playful, lazy, lovable and patient. She kind of goes with the flow. She also knows she is the alpha dog, so she keeps order. She makes sure no one gets hurt and that they stay safe. She is a very responsible dog. TOBIE is a Staffordshire Bull Terrier runt. We adopted her from the shelter. She is just over six years old. She is very very smart. Quick learner. Playful, lovable, and fast. She is very small and has had a few surgeries. So she is not a ruff and tuff type. She is our little lap dog. ______________________________ REMINDER: We are here to provide a safe service for you and your pet/s. Understanding that we will being doing drop-ins and over nighters at your home we will provide the upmost respect to you, your pet/s, your property and your time. Our dogs will never be brought to into your home nor on the walks. This would just make things complicated. The time you book with us, is all for your pets. I will send you updates daily.Rover provides a phone number between us that when a photo is taken is will automatically load to my profile pictures. Many guest provide me with their personal phone number and receive photos and updates directly. ______________________________ A Little More About Us: I worked for the school system in California for just over sixteen years as an Instructional Assistant for special needs students. I retired to pursue my doggie business. I also have a degree in computer science. My daughter, who has assisted me since the beginning of our doggie venture (about twelve years) is attending online college courses. _______________________________ I was featured on ABCNews 10 in 2016.
