A pet is an extension of your family. They need, play, love and attention. I don't have special skills - just lots of patience and the love of all animals. I have 3 indoor cats, 3 dogs and 7 outdoor tortoises. They are a big part of my family. As I'm sure your pet is to too. Our pit bull runs, hides and cries when it's time to vacuum - so we take her for a walk while that task is done. One tortoise "tripod" is hibernating in a box in my family room - when we found him he was hurt - his right front leg is not all there so he cannot dig. It's all about patience and understanding. I have always had pets, would not be without them.
