I Just love my dog, Lucy, and there is nothing like walking in from work and being greeted by a wagging tail and puppy kisses. Even though our Lucy isn't big (try telling her that) I feel the protection with her loud barking alarm. The best thing about being a dog owner is the unconditional love thats drawn out of you and receive in return. The entertainment of their tricks, how they react to getting praise for doing something good, or just how goofy they can be, make me and my son adore all dogs. 2 years ago I had to put my miniature pinscher, Libby, who we had for 8 years down and we were devastated. The house felt so empty, and we couldn't stand it so we went out and rescued Lucy, a rat terrier, and she makes me smile every day. My son and I just love her to pieces. We would love the chance to meet and care for more furry friends and hope that you will become a part of our extended canine/human family. We plan to shower your companion with as much love as our Lucy girl (which is a ridiculous amount, lol). Lucy enjoys playing, running and wrestling (for all you high energy pups) as well as just relaxing and chewing her toys. She has done very well with both older dogs and puppies. Let us know what special things your dog likes/dislikes or enjoys doing so we are able to comfort and customize our care for your baby boy/girl. We plan to make your companion's stay as calm, comfortable, safe and fun as it can be so you have peace of mind while away. We hope to have the privilege of caring for your special little love :). This was our first time using Rover. I feel that we really lucked out with Debbie & Evan watching our dog Bitsy. Kept us posted with many pictures. Bitsy looked like she felt right at home. Debbie Even made her a nice little tote bag with her name on it for her next doggie visit. We would definitely use them again!!! Thank you Debbie and Evan for taking such good care of Bitsy.....❤️

Deborah and Evan were great with our Milo! They sent frequent updates and pictures and made sure we were kept in the loop on his stay. They were very flexible with our pickup and drop-off times and he was so tired after playing with their Lucy. Will definitely plan to stay with them again.
Deborah was wonderful from beginning to end! The meet & greet, the drop off, during the stay, and the pickup were easy peasy! Her dog Lucy is a sweetheart and she got along well with my dog, Chester. Deborah sent lots of pics & vids (playing, relaxing & walking Chester) so I was able to be at ease while on vacation! I highly recommend her for your pets away from home needs!

A typical day
We live in a nice little neighborhood, with plenty of sidewalks for safe walks and a few little parks within walking distance. Our backyard is fenced in and pretty long, so Lucy and your dog will have plenty of room to run and play. As well as SOOOO many bones and things to play with.
