Pet care experience
I have an active lifestyle and will enjoy walking with your pet or cuddling on the sofa if that's what they prefer. I am retired and available with flexible hours. I live in a safe secure neighborhood and have access to walking trails and parks. I have a pet safe home and a fenced back yard. I will never leave your pet alone or unsecured while I'm on duty. I schedule any necessary time away from my home before your pet arrives. I take safety as my first priority when caring for your pet. I am experienced in giving medications and especially when keeping diabetic dogs. After my last dog passed over the rainbow bridge a few years ago, I became a full-time caregiver and could not own a pet. Now my life has freed up and I am ready to be a pet sitter. I have lots of love and attention to share and hope you will consider me to be a sitter for your pet.

Deborah was absolutely wonderful with our Westie, Hampton. He is 15 1/2 years old so the need for special care was essential to allow us to travel for a week with our children and grandchildren. She sent many updates and photos on a daily basis and we were not the least worried about him at any point. Her little Mary Frances also made a great companion for Hampton. Her home is well laid out and comfortable and has a small fenced in back yard that is just perfect. I highly recommend Deborah especially for elderly pets. Five Stars +++++
Deborah went above and beyond to make our Yorkie feel right at home. She was constantly keeping in contact with us with photos. Made sure he had plenty of loving and play time. She was very flexible and willing to help us with pick up and drop off times. She will be the only person I use in the future. Highly recommended.
I highly recommend Deborah! My Yorkie is almost 15 years old and has to have insulin shots twice a day, eye drops daily and special food. I was so worried about leaving him for the extended time that I was going to be out of town. Deborah eased my worries immediately. She took care of all of Rocky’s needs. Plus she loved on him all day long. I got several pictures and messages throughout the day showing me how much Rocky was enjoying his stay. I will definitely be using Deborah in the future.

I would like to know your rules for pet care, concerning feeding only dog food, or if you allow safe people food (which I don't recommend) and the feeding times and daily amount of feed, etc. The schedule you maintain for brushing and if the pet is allowed on your furniture and bed so I can comply accordingly. Does your pet play with toys. Does your pet like to take walks and if so, is it friendly when other dogs on lease do approach. My priority is to keep your pet safe and secure.
A typical day
I regularly walk the track behind Athens High School, which is a beautiful nature trail. I walk the track behind a local church and neighborhood. I also walk the Browns Ferry nature trail. If your pet does not like to walk on a lease, we can have lots of play time and running in my secure fenced-in back yard.

I'm happily retired and stay home full time, I'm always with your pet and I never leave pets unattended and in a crate...I love pampered spoiled babies.
