Pawsatively Awesome Doggie Care

Pet care experience

Hi there! I'm Deborah. I'm a critical care physician assistant by night, photographer, dog trainer, and pet sitter by day, and I am so excited to meet you and your dog! I offer drop-in care and dog walking so that you don't have to worry about your doggos when you're away. Our family has never been without a dog in the house, so I have plenty of experience with a variety of breeds, sizes, and doggie demeanors. I was the one person in the neighborhood who always ended up with every stray or injured cat, dog, rabbit, turtle, bird, snake, frog, hamster...well, you get the picture. My love and understanding of dogs were inspired by my uncle who was a trainer and judge for the Westminster Kennel Club (ages ago) and my love and affection for dogs has only grown stronger throughout the years. I genuinely look forward to pampering your pet should you choose to trust them in my care and assure you that their well-being and safety will be my priority. In my free time, I love taking pictures and participating in traditional Irish sports like (Hurling and Gaelic football. I love being outdoors in general and enjoy hiking, kayaking, and paddleboarding. I'd love to meet you and your dog, let's set up a Meet and Greet!

Deborah was a wonderful person and took very good care of Daisy and Buddy. I appreciate everything she did from feeding to playtime with them. I would highly recommend her. Thank you again Deborah!

Safety, trust & environment

When visiting and/or walking your pet, my primary concern is ensuring their safety at all times. However, I will also be sure to give them plenty of exercise and enrichment during my visit.

Information Deborah B. would like to know about your pet

Before working with your dog, I would like to know a bit about their personality, including their likes, dislikes, and fears. I would also like to know a bit about how they react to other dogs both on and off a leash so that I can be optimally prepared for any unexpected encounters. Additionally, I would need to know about any health issues or medical problems that your dog may have; however, you can rest assured that I work in the medical field (taking care of humans) and have experience caring for dogs with a variety of conditions and illness (diabetes, seizures, blind, deaf, heart problems, etc).

A typical day

Your dog will be on a leash at all times - safety is my utmost concern. We will start with a potty break and then your pet will enjoy a nice walk around your neighborhood followed by a little playtime if desired.
