Pet care experience
My husband, Garry and I both grew up with dogs We owned a German Shepherd for 10 years and a Schnauzer for 2 years. We have watched dogs for our friends the last 5 years. We don’t have a dog now but we love watching our friends dogs when they go away. Your dog will be well cared for and love staying with us! We are retired and have lots of time to take care of your pet and give them the love and attention they deserve. The only time we are both gone is Sunday mornings, for church. We are gone for up to 4.5 hours. Other than that most of the time there’s always someone home. We try to limit how many dogs we keep per month. And we only keep one dog at a time. We want to be fresh and ready to care for your dog with the most care we can offer. We really enjoy the variety of pets that have come to us and we want to continue to provide the best care for your dog.

Deborah and Garry are wonderful. We drive 30 min away just to have them watch our dog because they do such a great job. They are loving and caring and provide lots of updates while we are away. We feel lucky to have found them. I’d highly recommend them to anyone looking for a pet sitter.
Debbie (and Gary) were conscientious and professional. They seemed to truly enjoy caring for Ember. Communication was prompt and appropriate. Would use again!

Deborah and Garry are fantastic pet sitters. I felt very comfortable leaving our senior dog with them for 8 nights. They administered all his meds and treated him with loving care. I could immediately tell at his overnight initial visit that he would be well cared for! The fenced in yard was a plus, and I liked receiving pictures of Cooper during his stay. Deborah kept me updated, which put us at ease. I would definitely recommend Deborah and Garry - they are a great team!

We have a fenced in yard with plenty of room for a dog to run and play. Our house has plenty of space for a crate if needed. We live in a very safe neighborhood. When necessary we block off certain areas of the house (like the steps to the basement) to keep pets safe.

PLEASE NOTE FIRST TIME CUSTOMERS: we need at least a 3 week notice. Please let us know of special needs - food, treats and how often your dog needs to exercise. Are they a good walker? Also please know that we do not allow the dogs on our furniture but we do allow the dog to sleep with us if they so choose. If you prefer a crate we can also accommodate this. A list of simple commands that your dog understands is always welcome!
A typical day
We walk every day in our neighborhood - it is safe and good walk for the dog. We take time to play and let the dog run around in our fenced in yard. Big dogs have plenty of room to run around! We also play with the dog in our house.
