My family has had dogs in the house since before I was born. The German Shepherd I had when I was a baby actually taught me to walk. Since then, I've owned and helped care for an Australian Shepherd Border Collie with multiple health issues, often requiring oral medications, and a blind and diabetic Yorkie who required insulin shots after every meal. I now have a sweet Great Pyrenees Pitbull, who, along with my canary, is the our only pet. I work mainly on weekdays, with open availability on weekends and nights. I have a large backyard, which I share with my neighbours below me. While they do have multiple pets, they will not be in my apartment, nor will they be near any dogs I am sitting.
