Pet care experience
I have 51 years of experience caring for my own beloved dogs and cat. I also volunteered for the Michigan Humane Society for 14 years, where I walked unevaluated dogs and trained dogs for their Pawsitive Start program. When I check in on your dog or cat, I can also feed them, take them out for a potty break, provide some play time and do some training, if desired. If you choose to have me provide daycare or boarding, your dog would would be a part of my family and whatever I do with my own dog and cat. He/she would also go on a walk. I am also learning animal reiki and massage , so they could benefit from those opportunities as well. I can groom them for an extra charge.

Debbie is the ultimate in loving & caring for dogs. She owns her own, adopts other dogs-even with special needs-and none seem to be too much trouble. She has groomed our Yorkshire Terrier for almost 10 years and never a harsh tone, just patience. With Debbie in the picture, I would trust her over any other licensed business establishment - She’s a Dog’s Best Friend!!!
Debbie is a very reliable and trustworthy person. She has been employed as a teacher and just recently retired. She is a conservationist and animal lover who has raised golden retrievers for many years. She also enjoys volunteering at a local horse barn whenever she can. Debbie will take excellent care of your pets!
I've known Debbie G for close to 40 years. It began back in the late 70s when she would come in to my veterinary office with her parents when I cared for their pets. As she grew up and went out on her own I began performing veterinary care to many of her pets. I know her as a loving, caring intelligent person who always put her pets at the top of her list of importance. Her pets are her family members. She knows enough about pet care to easily become a veterinary professional.

Before providing daycare or boarding your dog, it is critical for me to know if he/she is gentle and safe around cats, as I would never expose my beloved 15 year old tuxedo kitty to a dog who would harm her. I would also want to commands or words that are known or any medical conditions. I would ask you to provide all of your contact information and a local veterinarian in case of an emergency.
A typical day
If you choose to have your dog stay with me , we can take a 20 minute walk in our scenic area or go for longer walks at Hudson Mills Metropark or on the Border to Border Trail or the Trails across the the Hamburg Township buildings. They could also play outside in our little side yard.
