I am a positive reforcement certified dog trainer. My husband works out of our house. We have been foster parents for the CT humane society (foster parent of the year 2016) for 9 yrs. We specialize in bottle feeders for the humane society. We are very active pet parents that love to hike, head to the river to swim and explore. Our fur animals are our children! We are both veterans (me-Navy, husband-Airforce) When I’m not working my full time job (dental assistant) I am continuing my education about dogs. We have a 8 yr old Choc Lab that we have had since he was 2 days old. 12 year old blk lab/chow mix. Our cat is 20 yrs old and loves dogs. We look forward to enjoying your fur baby while you are away relaxing and feeling confident that they are in good hands!

After meeting Deb we decided she would be the perfect fit in caring for our fur baby,Maggie,for the first time we’d left her and gone away. I was a nervous wreck leaving Mags for the first time but Deb went above and beyond all expectations of what we expected from a dog sitter which eased all anxiety I had. She sent us pics and updates on how Maggie was doing. Being out of state Deb made us comfortable in knowing Maggie was not only being cared for but loved. Deb treated Maggie like she was “her” fur baby too. You’d not find a better sitter than Deb. We are positive Deb would be our go to sitter in the future. I truly can’t say enough about her...
Debbi was wonderful. She came to our house for an initial meet & greet prior to housesitting and our normally cautious dog warmed up to her immediately. It wasn't long before our pup was leaning against her legs, loving all of the attention. Debbi was incredibly warm and friendly, and always quick to respond to all communications. We will definitely be asking Debbi to dog-sit for us again!
Debbi was AMAZING! She took great care of our two dogs giving them a lot of love, taking them on a number of walks, and giving them a lot of treats. We highly recommend Debbi and definitely will be using her again and again!
We were extremely pleased and greateful for the wonderful job Debbie and Tom did in watching our two dogs — Archie and Gordie. When I dropped them off, they asked questions that showed their understanding of dogs and their appreciation for how much our dogs mean to us. We received daily pictures, videos and updates of our dogs at the park and on other fun adventures! This was the first time we left our dogs with people who were not known neighbors or family members. But Debbie and Tom treated our two guys like their own and did a wonderful job. Recommend 100%. Thanks Debbi and Tom!

A typical day
We take a walks everynight. If your fur pet loves to play ball/frisbee, they will do that everynight with our dog. Since I am a dog trainer there is always training going on in some sort of ways. They are never to old to learn new tricks or keep their mind sharp.
