Hi! My name is Deb, and I just finished up working at a non-profit this summer. I have a cat, Valerie, who I've adored for my entire life, and I adopted a rescue dog about 4 years ago ("shorty" passed away last summer, but he was an adorable, senior, black lhasa apso). I have grown up taking care of animals, whether they were my own pets, or others' - my family and I used to host our neighbors dogs and cats when they went on vacation. I also volunteered at an animal shelter for over 4 years, taking care of animal cages, feeding the animals, and socializing with them. Being around dogs and cats makes me really happy! I would love to take care of your pets and treat them with cuddles, fun, pets, treats, and walks. Shorty definitely had his quirks (we adopted him when he was 11, and came with some major health issues - he was blind, had heart problems, and was a bit deaf) so I am very willing to work with your dog to make him or her the most comfortable. I also love to go on long walks! My availability is pretty open, my only conflicts are the occasional doctors appointment. Please contact me if you think I am a good fit!
