Pet care experience
I'm a dog person. Always have been, always will be. I only have one dog because that’s all I can fit on my kayak! But while I'm on land, I love to be surrounded by dogs. I’ve been fostering for a dog rescue organization for 4 years, so I have lots of experience making all kinds of dogs feel at home. I’ve cared for puppies, blind dogs, 3 legged dogs, senior dogs on meds, and even towed a lame dog around in a bicycle trailer so she could enjoy the fresh air and good sniffings. I'm a massage therapist with Advanced First Aid certification. Although I'm trained to work on humans, the dogs in my care can benefit from these skills as well. Please consider letting me care for your furry friend.

Winnie had a great time playing with their dogs, and was able to sleep with someone for the night which helps with her separation anxiety! Perfect experience!
We absolutely ove Deb and her boys! We have a rescue chihuahua that is very anxious. Deb won him over and took amazing care of him while we were out of town. She sent us pictures of him daily, where it was evident that he was comfortable, loved and very well cared for. Finding a sitter for our special dog is hard, we are beyond grateful that we found someone who truly loves dogs and who is patient to win him over. Absolutely we will use Deb again in the future!
My dog escaped her home. Luckily, he's microchipped and was found unharmed but I have no idea how long he was out and we're extremely fortunate that he wasn't hit by a car because he was found wandering a main road.
Deb took great care of our dog. She took her to the park and/or the bike trail every day and sent us plenty of pictures/videos. I think our dog having her dog Chico to hang out with was a positive as well. We will use her again if needed

A typical day
Let MY home be YOUR dog's home away from home. He or she will have the run of the house, company from my chihuahua/pug (and maybe my cat, too- if he's not hiding), a fenced yard to play and pee pee in, frequent walks (and swims if wanted), and lots of love. My fenced yard backs right up to the Salem-Marblehead Rail Trail, so we can go for walks without even going onto the street!
