Hi I'm Deanna, I've had dogs and other furry pets in my life for over 30+ years. It's been my joy to own and care for many different breeds, sizes and ages of dogs and cats. I had the pleasure of being a foster mommy to 50+ dogs/puppies and 70+ cats/kittens over 18 years for an animal rescue in New Jersey. High energy dogs are a favorite of mine, I love walking, playing or just giving rubs and petting! I own a Bull Mastiff, Boxer, Staffy Mix who is a big lover and has been helpful with new fosters making them comfortable when they first come in. I grew up on a small farm in RI so I am experienced with Horses, cows, chickens, rabbits and other small furry critters. I am fully insured, have references, CPR and Pet First Aid trained. It would be my pleasure to spend time with your furry pet/pets while your at work or on vacation!

Ahhhh what can I say about Deanna? Deanna is kind of a dog whisperer, she was a member of our rescue group, Animal Friends for Education & Welfare, Inc. for many years and she still helps out as much as possible from a far. As one of the founders, I relied on Deanna to help work with our new members, teaching them the proper way to walk a dog, correct an issue such as pulling or jumping, and more. Deanna was my go to person for evaluating our rescue dogs. She is very intuitive when it comes to "reading" a dogs behavior. She is was one of a couple of handlers that I would trust to do a dog-to-dog introduction. I also referred Deanna to new adopters for obedience help with their new dog. She is reliable, confident and willing to help, AND she can walk farther than anyone else I know! In short I would trust her completely with any one of my pack!
Deanna is an amazing dog handler. She has worked with rescue dogs as part of AFEW for the last eighteen years. In that time, she has worked with many dogs. She teaches them basic skills like walking on a leash, taking treats politely, and to not jump on people. She loves dogs and spending time with them. Her personal dog, Bandit, is a testimonial to her training skills and love of dogs. He is one of the best dogs ever! Deanna is responsible, kind, and loving. She understands dogs need exercise, play, attention, and love to be happy. She also knows a tired dog is a good dog! Deanna will be a great asset to your dog's routine.
Deanna N Handled my dog Zoe as if it were her own. Zoe obeyed her on the first visit.. When Deanna came to pick up Zoe for all her walks the dog was in heaven. Zoe's tail would be waging and she had a big smile. When we were away she feed and walked Zoe. We were very please with Deanna N
