The somewhat desperate feeling of having your dog’s boarding plan fall through lands you on Rover.com just days before you’re supposed to leave town. This is not where I wanted to be – having to let a stranger watch my home and dog, handing over the keys and saying prayers. Instead, I said a prayer first, and I landed on the smiling face of Deann. She was an angel! Confident, prepared, kind, experienced, the list of good qualities goes on and on. I immediately felt at ease and our dog took to her as soon as she walked in our door for our introduction. Deann took pictures, communicated, and provided text updates at least once a day and I stopped worrying. That’s maybe the best compliment I can post here – I stopped worrying and had a great time on our trip because Deann had it completely under control.
