Pet care experience
I grew up with dogs and absolutely love the joy and affection they bring and enjoy treating them with the same affection and kindness. I am a mental health therapist and I am realizing more and more how much animals improve our mental health and physical well-being and that animals in general are so valuable, if not just simply adorable and lovable. I have pet-sat on and off for many years, on top of the care that I learned simply growing up with dogs. Dog owners will love the attention I give their dogs, along with the fact that I am ethical and responsible with their homes, privacy, and property. I am available for overnights almost any evening and two to three days per week.

Dayna was terrific! She immediately formed a bond with our pups, and did a wonderful job house sitting. She left everything neat and clean. She communicated regularly and sent pictures to assure us the fur babies were doing well. It is easy to tell she loves animals and that comes through in the care that she provides. Dayna absolutely loves little animals. She gushed over then and just loves to play with them and cuddle and pet them. She is very kind, caring and creative when it comes to doing things with my children. She is always showing me fun new things that her little critters are up to. She is very professional and would take caring for your pets seriously but also enjoy it.
Dayna has lovingly cared for our dog for over ten years. She has watched him both at her home and in ours. When our dog is with Dayna, she treats him like her own; he cuddles up for naps in her lap and gets trips to the dog park. She is entirely dependable and is a great communicator with both dogs and people. :) We love you, Dayna!
Dayna is clearly kind and loves animals. I knew she was paying close attention to my cats because she knew how they liked to be approached and pet after her first day taking care of them without me ever telling her. Would recommend.

I love small and medium dogs, especially shih-tzus. I tend to be mildly allergic to Labs and Retrievers, but am willing to do smaller sit-ins with them. The smaller dogs such as Chihuahuas, Lhasa Apsos, Shih-Tzu's, and Spaniels tend not to cause allergy problems so I am good with overnights for those. For larger homes with mostly wood flooring I can do overnights with any breed.
A typical day
I live in Wixom but work in Ypsilanti. Depending on where I am taking care of the dog, I will locate dog parks in the area. I will also play indoors as well as cuddle endlessly. If there are any particularly games your dog has learned I will be happy to play. When I was growing up we taught our dogs "hide the biscuit," where we would put small biscuit pieces in various places and set them loose to find the pieces.
