Pet care experience
I’ve taken care of dogs and cats since I was 11. I’ve been the go to pet sitter for classmates, neighbors, coworkers, and friends and family over the years. I fostered from my city’s humane society, including a sick kitten and four, month-old puppies. Whatever kind of pet you have, I know the special place they hold in your heart, and now mine. I love to watch a hyperactive puppy get their energy out and keeping senior dogs feeling young and loved. I have primarily grown up with and worked with Pit mixes and larger dogs such as golden retrievers or labs but have recently been won over by the sweet eyes of smaller dogs such as chihuahuas and Wieners! I’ve lived with 3 different cats so far and have loved them as my own, and love cat sitting long term as it gives me enough time to form a bond with them!

Dayana was wonderful with our Westie, who only likes to be home. Dayana kept her cozy and comfy, sent us pictures everyday and eased our anxieties about leaving our dog home without us. She also kept our home immaculate and when we came back from our trip, we didn't have to do anything but love our doggie and unpack!
Dayana took great care of our pup, and I appreciate how many updates and photos we received through the weekend!
I will echo other reviews and say that Dayana is wonderful! My dog is slow-to-warm and reactive but immediately felt comfortable with Dayana. I have actually never seen her warm up so quickly to a new person. Dayana was attentive and took great care of Tilly, and I appreciated the daily picture updates. I will continue to use Dayana in the future and am so thankful I found them!

Due to the fact that I live with 2 territorial cats in a small apartment with an unfenced backyard, I unfortunately do not offer boarding or day care services. With that being said, I love house sitting, drop in visits and especially walks! When visiting a clients home, I always make sure to let myself be known before entering and give our furry babies time to acclimate before we get to it. Rest assured that I will leave your home in better condition than found as I always clean up after myself and go the extra mile to help you be able to relax and spend time with your furry babies when you get home. I do my best to keep your pets mind from missing you and ease any anxieties or discomfort that may come up. I love long walks and park playtimes, always prepared with a collapsible bowl to keep hydrated, and know the best spots to rest and roll in the grass in. I make sure to send at least one picture per day (at arrival, on walks/playtime, and/or before bed/departure) to ease your worries and aches of missing your babies.

Let me know of any special treats your furry baby enjoys and/or can’t have, flight risks, and if you’re open to socializing with other dogs or cats, as well as if your dog does well with people (or if it's best to avoid them). If there’s any triggering environments or situations that might affect your dog's behavior, let me know and I’ll do my best to avoid them or work through them with the love and support your little one needs. Although I have experience with special needs, medicine, diapers and much more, I always prefer a walk through of any routines or procedures in place to help keep your pet feeling safe and stress free!
A typical day
I love a chance to be outside and active just as much as I love snuggling up on the couch. Whether it be sprinting after their favorite ball or squeaky toy (or silly sitter), or getting all the belly rubs, I can guarantee your dog will be happy and healthy. It all depends on their personality and needs :)

Availability
During the school year, I work 8-4 so that leaves me most available during holiday breaks, especially in the summer and winter. I do accept emergency drop-in or walk requests during weekday evenings from 5-8 PM once I’ve already established a trusting relationship with your pet. I love the opportunity to get active with your dog during weekends and will never turn down the honor of their affection!
