I have had dogs all my life until November 2015 when my beloved 14 year old Aussie Xena passed away. I am not ready to raise a new dog yet but would love to provide loving care for yours. I love to walk and be outside, you can expect an energetic walk for your pet unless they are elderly or have other mobility issues. My style is affectionate but firm. Dogs, like people, are individuals and deserve respect and compassion, I also expect respect in return and set clear boundaries and expectations. Most dogs respond well to this approach and look forward to our walks. I enjoy playing "school" with the dogs I take care of, and so do they! Xena and I did advanced training at River Dog and I have a few tools in my toolbox for effective training when needed. I am dependable and conscientious, I raised three children, have 4 grandchildren and ran a specialty nursery for 10 years. I will care for you family member as I would my own, your trust is my top priority. I hope you will give my service a try and that we are a good fit.
