Pet care experience

Growing up, my sister always brought home random pets and I was always there to help them. Along with special care to puppies and dogs, I can also care for other animals. I especially love going on walks in parks. I work full time as an editor from home! I work 9-5, but I take breaks to walk my own furry friend the throughout the day. I’m usually free on the weekends to spend extra time with any pets I may be watching or my own of course! I live in an apartment, but prefer spending time outside with the pets. Lucky for me, I am not far from several parks, both small and large. My neighborhood is very pet friendly and would love to see new pets around. I go above and beyond to make your pet comfy during their stay.

Dawn was amazing. She kept our dachshund for 3 nights, and it was obvious from our first meeting that she would be perfect for the task. Our dog is 11 years old, and only now adjusting to apartment life (we just moved to DC and have until 2 months ago had a house with a big fenced-in yard). Our dog can be a little high-strung it turns out, but Dawn handled it great. We got pic and status updates. And it was obvious when we met with her to pick our dog back up that our dog was definitely a fan of her. I would not hesitate to ask Dawn to dog sit for us again. Absolutely fantastic experience.

My Rover experience with Dawn was great. After a good meet and great, she kept my dog for a couple of nights during the week. She was super responsive when I messaged her and flexible with my pickup due to my late flight. I would definitely recommend her.

I make sure everyone gets along. I also have a camera in my living room (where the dogs stay when I’m out) to check in on them while I may be running errands. If needed; I can separate pups into different parts of the apartment or only leave one at home at a time

A typical day

I love taking multiple walks a day with my own pup and even sitting outdoors just to soak up the sun when the weather permits. I also love to go on Mini hikes at trails (~30 mins usually). There’s several parks nearby (including a dog park) I take pets to. I have a lot of toys and can play catch, games with their treats, and other fun activities.
