We have always had cats and dogs in our family; since retiring and traveling, we feel we cannot be permanent pet owners, but a house without a pet just seems wrong! So we will love and play with yours as if they were our own. I work very part-time, and we are involved in a variety of community and charitable activities, but very seldom are we both gone for more than an hour. If your pet has special needs just let us know. When you book, please provide a 2-hour window of the actual drop-off and pick-up times. We have a big house and two fenced yards--one for 'getting busy' and the other (grass) for playing. They are both very secure unless your dog is a jumper. We walk on a soccer field and arroyo. Yard is large enough for medium size dogs to play fetch and has lots of bushes, shade, water, and birds and lizards to keep your dog entertained. Our home has wood floors and a few steps, which can be an issue for older dogs (it was for ours). Check out the photos to make sure your dog will be comfortable. We are used to carrying smaller dogs up and down.
