Pet care experience
Hey! My name is Dawn and I have extensive experience as a veterinary assistant and pet sitter. I grew up around all kinds of animals and currently have 2 dogs and 4 cats. I have a husky named Kain and a lab mix named June. My other fur babies names are Katniss, Biddy, Kitty and Onyx. I’m able to handle fairly large dogs and I take pride in caring for them. I would love to run a pet boarding facility one day in the future. My husky is very high energy so I’m able to handle dogs that aren’t always calm. I love all types of animals, cats, dogs, reptiles, etc. My friends and family have been using me as their go to pet sitter for years. I look forward to meeting your wonderful four legged friends!

I feel so lucky to have found Dawn! Communication exceeds expectation. Dawn is flexible and understanding on drop off and pick up time. My doggie is super excited each time we pull up to Dawn’s house.
Merlin had a wonderful time staying with Dawn and her critters. He is an older dog, so he doesn't do well in noisy kennels. I'm very pleased with how relaxed he was when we picked him up from his vacation at Dawn's. Highly recommend!!!!
Dawn did an awesome job looking after our cats over a long weekend! She is so friendly and clearly loves animals. Would definitely book with Dawn again!

If your pet comes to my home, they will be able to play with my two pups and all their toys! We may also make occasional trips to the dog park for any high energy pups. Newly added fenced in area in front yard for dogs to play as well.

A typical day
Depending on the client, I take dogs to the Ithaca Dog Park, State Parks and trail walks. I also love to take them for a ride to get pup cups.
