Our 12.5 year old mixed breed dog, Kodi, stayed with Dawn last week for the first time. To say she took good care of him is an understatement. She was not only kind and caring, but went above and beyond what was expected. She sent photos of how he was settling in, asked questions so she could make him feel even more comfortable, and her place is perfectly set up to care for a dog, especially an older dog, like Kodi. We highly recommend Dawn and she set our mind at ease while having our dog stay at a new place for 4 nights. Thank you Dawn.
First time using Rover, and very anxious for my pup who was already unsettled as we are in the process of a cross country move. It was a lot to ask for someone to take her under their wing for their own Thanksgiving holiday, and Dawn was the perfect host. Easy to communicate with ahead of the stay and during. She made Nova and I feel very comfortable as soon as we entered her home. It was so nice to know Nova was being cared for and doted on just as I would do for her. Dawn sent lots of photos and updates and raved about how sweet she was. Highly recommend, and we would 100% book again if we are back in the area.
Dawn has been a FANTASTIC dog sitter, and totally recommendable. Our dog had a wonderful time with her.

Your dog is welcome to wander around the entirety of my tiny home, accompany me as I go about my business, or snooze on any of the freshly laundered blankets I will provide. Outside, Fido will enjoy a cornucopia of fragrances, expansive shared lawns, a variety of trees, foliage, and flowers, friendly neighbors and other curious doggies.

I can only host clean, mild-mannered dogs that are fully housetrained and entirely domesticated. Please do not bring reactive, destructive, or feral street dogs to my home as my Turkish rugs, furnishings, and neighbors are precious to me and cannot withstand any abuse. Also, please be aware that the cost for extra-large dogs (more than 85 lbs) is +15/day.
A typical day
A typical day involves morning, evening, and midday walks plus one extended game of outdoor fetch to encourage indoor laziness. Indoor activities include snoozing while I work broken up by rounds of training with treats and puzzles to keep them engaged and content.

I work full-time from home and have the flexibility to walk your dog 4X per day. Weekend sittings usually include something special for the dog––a trail hike, open field for fetch, or a trip into town.
