Dawn has been apart of our "family" for the last 5 years. We first met Dawn 5 years ago when we adopted our little Yorkie/Bichon mix, Chloe. Dawn's training was exceptional and she took extra time with us outside of class to help with Chloe's fear of nail-clipping, along with answering random questions. Three years later, we added to our family with a King Charles Cavalier mix, Bailey, and we knew we wouldn't trust her training to anyone else but Dawn. Bailey and Chloe have very different personalities and Dawn worked with both of them to not only train them but to help Chloe accept her new sister. I wouldn't trust my fur-babies to just anyone, and now that Dawn is no longer local to PA, we are having a very hard time finding someone to fill her shoes. To say that all of us, including our girls, miss her greatly is an understatement. You will not meet a better trainer, who is so in tune with your dogs, their behaviors/personalities, and who cares as much as she does!

I adopted a rescue who was (and is) devoted to me but a holy terror to everyone else. I was having some health concerns and wondered how EMS would even be able to get into my house if I needed them to. He was 11 pounds of ferocity with very sharp teeth. Dawn worked with him, earned his trust and she became the first person to be able to come into my house without worry. With her help, I can now have guests. She also trained me on how to work with him. Dawn is more than a trainer - she is a behaviorist. By understanding Joey's triggers, she was able to make a huge difference where other trainers could not. Florida is lucky - you have gotten a champion. Joey and I are going to miss her!
