Pet care experience
I am an animal lover with a flexible schedule in Philadelphia. I'm available for overnight care in your home - dogs, cats, guinea pigs, backyard chickens.... goats! I've lived around animals my entire life; more recently a mother hen to a small flock of chickens. I'm an avid gardener, I enjoy hiking + nature, and I teach goat yoga for the Philly Goat Project as well a few yoga classes at the University of the Arts. In addition, I'm a caretaker of a house museum with two working dogs on site. I'm comfortable providing special care, diets and/or medications for elderly pets as well as walking/playing/hiking with young pups (or the young at heart). I can provide excellent references, as well as excellent care. I look forward to meeting you ~ and your furry (or not so furry) ones.

Dawn has been our pet caregiver for several years now. We all (humans, dogs and cats) love her so much. She is extremely competent, reliable, patient, thoughtful, creative, kind and I could go on and on. It is a gift to have her care for our fur babies and home when we are away. Dawn is a gem!
Not only is Dawn extremely reliable and responsible, she is someone who deeply loves all animals. Dawn has cared for our animals for time periods ranging from a single walk to a whole week and I am always so grateful to know they are in her care. She is thoughtful, kind, and my whole family (furry and human) loves her.

I enjoy long walks with dogs, exploring neighborhoods, as well as exploring the wissahickon - if your dog is up for the adventure! Short frequent walks are ok too -- whatever makes your pooch happy :)
