Pet care experience
I love all kinds of animals but doggos are my favorite! I lost my 12 year bestie Snoopy a year ago and I am so excited to get out there and get to know more dog friends. I have experience caring for my brother's dogs (a Beagle and a Peekapoo) overnight at my house about three times a year. We always take a long trip to the dog park or walk on a hiking trail, then run around in my BIG backyard! Call me if you don't mind coming home to a sleepy pup!

Dawn took great care of our Benny while I was away. He loves going on walks with her. Our puppy always returned home tired and happy. Dawn is punctual and promptly answers any inquires you might have. She gives you detailed updates with photos on the walks she takes with your dog. I felt Benny was always safe and in good hands while he was with her. We had a fantastic experience with Dawn and we highly recommend her!

Dawn watches my beagle and peekapoo about two or three times a year while we go on a family vacation. The dogs love staying with their auntie and I am able to relax knowing they are in good hands. She's absolutely a hands on caretaker and makes sure they get love and attention. Dawn is a lover of all animals but has a special place in her heart for dogs. Highly recommend!

We have a large yard but no fence. Dogs would need to be walked around or be on a lead line, but there's a lot of space! I'd love your permission to go for a long walk at the park, or playtime at the dog park, however, we have enough space (and tennis balls!) to get your doggy a good workout right here. At your house, we can do whatever your furbaby likes to do! We can play catch, fetch, frisbee or hide and seek. I love a good match of tug-o-war! I also do quite a bit of hiking (and biking) as a hobby and I know a lot of fun trails close by, if you'd be comfortable with us taking a road trip.

A typical day
I love taking long walks with dogs, or hiking on more challenging trails. We can climb some rocks, play fetch or even find a beach and go for a swim. If your pup is a social butterfly, we can hang at the dog park for a few hours. I always bring lots of water and treats.

Availability
I work very part time from home (10 hours a week), typically two hours a day in the early morning. I also have two kids, 10 and 6, who will be home all summer. They are very comfortable with dogs and easily match energy with any canine, whether a sleepy, gentle elder or a springy new pup. That being said, if your dog doesn't like kids, our property is large enough to set up a separate area for the dog and the kids.
