Hello, my name is Dawn. Animals have always held a special place in my heart and have been a big part of my life! I am currently a dog Mom of 3 but have had pets in my life for as long as I can remember, including birds, cats, chickens and I even used to rehab baby squirrels. I couldn't imagine a life without a pet in it!! I have worked with animals most of my adult life. I was a certified animal control officer in New Jersey through Associated Humane Society. When not on the road I would help out at the shelter with the dogs and cats. Would help some of the dogs that have been there for a bit and work with them, taking for walks, teaching some commands or just spending time with them. They also had a zoo for neglected, abandoned or abused animals which I worked in. Some of the animals I worked with included goats, horses, sheep, many kinds of birds, pigs, I also worked in the monkey house and with some of the other exotic animals they had there. Some of my other experience includes grooming, and I have worked as a daycare/kennel attendant! I am usually the person my friends call for help with a pup. I have helped find forever homes for a few pups in need and have also helped transport a puppy to their new home for the rescue I adopted my bloodhound, Otis from. Visits can include whatever your pets needs may be.... feeding, fresh water, morning, afternoon and/ or evening walk, medication, play time in the yard or just some company.
