I started pet sitting out of a grand love for animals and ended up taking care of many amazing cats, several cool dogs, and an awesome turtle. I allowed each pet to be it's own learning experience in how important it is to never think you "know". Each little furry (and not so furry in the case of a the turtle) being was it's own being and I've learned to adapt my needs and care on a pet-by-pet basis. How I want yo take care of your pet is not as important as *your* expectations for pet care. And when you expect every little animal has it's own little identoty and personality, even among similar breeds, it's far easier to take on each as the furry little individual beings they are.
