I am a veterinary tech with 20 years of experience and 13 years of experience with pet sitting and dog walking services. I am qualified to recognize medical emergencies and administer medications. I also have 6 years experience working in a kennel and understand how stressful it can be on our beloved fur babies. My home is crate free and I can accommodate your pets needs, even sleeping in the bed. My own dogs are very playful and social with any four legged visitor. About this sitter: Why I love dog sitting I became a dog lover as a toddler when my Mom rescued our first dog. When entering High school I deciding on a career I decided to become a Vet Tech. When I turned 16 I got my first job as a kennel assistant. After graduation I began working as a veterinary assistant. 10 years ago I became a vet tech. I have volunteered at shelter and worked with Lab rescue of North Carolina. While working in a kennel I realized how stressful it can be not only for you pet but for you to leave your pet at a kennel do I decided to give pet owners another option by pet sitting and dog walking. I have recently moved back to my home state of Massachusetts and excepting new clients. My experience administering medication With my experience in the veterinary field I am comfortable administering any type of medication. I how ever will not medicate for any drug that is not approved and dosed for your pet with out veterinary consent. Between my spouse and I your pet will never be alone for more then 4 hours. Regular exercise will be received in our 1 acre fenced in yard. A safe environment will always be provided for your pet. If you pet requires lots of exercise that can be accomplished in my fenced in back yard. If your pet prefers quiet I am able to accomplish that with my split level home away from other pets in my home.
