I'm a 30 plus year dog owner. I am an active Foster and volunteer with the Helotes Humane Society.I am comfortable with all ages of dogs, from puppies to seniors. I also have experience with pets requiring post surgical care. I have administered shots, oral meds, and wound care. I keep Benedryl on hand for unexpected ant bites, bee stings or for the occasional toad that got to close and was bitten...lol. I am also versed at doggie baths and nail trims. I follow the website Dog food adviser for all of the latest recalls regarding dog food and for unbiased updates and how dog foods nutritionally compare to each other. I also pass this info on to all of my dog owner friends and family via my Facebook page as well as the Volunteer page.
