I’m a retired trauma nurse & wife of a retired K9 Police Officer. My entire life I have been surrounded by pets, dogs, primarily, but also fish, turtles, parakeets & rabbits. My earliest pet sitting job was as a 12y/o, taking care of a neighbor’s 3 cats, for 2 weeks. I have also taken care of a neighbor’s elderly dog, who needed IV medication. As a former nurse, and a pet owner whose own pets’ require medications, I am more than comfortable in dispensing these to your pets, if needed. I have 3 fur babies of my own, Harley, a Doberman, Brandi & Coco, both chihuahuas, all females. I have watched several pets in my home. Every situation is different, every animal is different. Keep in mind, that one of my dogs, is a Doberman. I know many people are uncomfortable with Dobermans & large dogs, in general. Harley is a gentle giant. Her bark is loud, she jumps & runs around, when she first meets you, but it is because she gets very excited with new friends. She will settle down once she gets warmed up to everyone. Remember, she lives with 2 small chihuahua sisters, who boss her around. Our house is lively, active, fun & can be noisy at times with 3 dogs, but we have lots of quiet, snuggle time on the couch, also. I will love your pet, like I love my own. You won’t be disappointed. 5/18/21...Today we took in a 9mth old French Bulldog named Toby, that needed to be re-homed. Because of this, I am putting my boarding services on hold until all of my pups can better acquainted with other & used to living with each other. I will still board all my previous clients who have boarded with me previously. Thanks for you’re understanding.
