Pet care experience
I've been fortunate to have several great dogs in my life, over the past 14 years. My folks had a golden retriever Mikey with short, stubby legs and he ran like the wind! He was such a cuddlebug and I used to walk him - with my folks, too. Then there's Saber, my partner's family black lab. She was a cuddlebug, too, and I regularly took care of her when her mama and dada were out of town. We walked, we cuddled, she got so many ear rubs!! I even took her to the vet on several occasions when she wasn't feeling well and gave her multiple, overlapping oral medicines. I feel comfortable taking care of medium-sized dogs because those are the ones I've been around the most. However, I'm also open to caring for small and large dogs, since I'm willing to be flexible.
Reviews
Dawn did a great job. She sent photos, texts and even called to check in to see if I had any questions or concerns. The dogs seemed to really enjoy her company. The house looked great when I got back.
Dawn has stayed with our dog several times in the past few months. Our dog can be uneasy with new people, but he warmed up to her right away when he met her. She has taken great care of our pup and always sends us regular updates and photos. We’ve had to make some last minute changes to our plans and she’s always been very flexible. We’ll definitely ask her to pet sit again.
Dawn continues to be a great caretaker for our dog. The cold and snow doesn’t slow her down at all!
Dawn has been so accommodating with our dog.

A typical day
There are a lot of good walking trails in my area. We can adventure in the woods on a hiking trail or on the sidewalk, all while exploring new smells.

My schedule is flexible right now, so I can accommodate same day requests. I have a headlamp, so I can walk your dog(s) if you're going to be home a little later than usual.
