Pet care experience
I am Wiltshire council licensed Home Boarder (LN/OOOO19873), with a 5 star council rating. We lost our beloved Labrador and I have been looking after and walking friends and neighbours dogs when needed. I love going on walks and playing with them and having cuddles. This is now my full time role, and I love to spend my time walking and playing with dogs that would otherwise be lonely at home on their own. I have a secure good size garden for dogs to play and a pet friendly home with dogs gates to ensure security and safety for all pets. Making your pets feel at home and enjoying a stress free stay is my priority. Sticking to routines as much as possible helps your pets to relax and enjoy their stay. I also strive to cater for their specific needs. I have a dog proof home and a large secure garden for them to play freely. This is inspected regularly. I have recently completed and passed a pet first aid course.

Had a really great experience when Dawn looked after my spaniel Frankie for a long weekend. Communication prior to his stay was great and everything dealt with in a very professional way. Frankie looked very settled when I left him and loved playing with the other dogs that were staying. I got lots of updates from Dawn to reassure that everything was fine as well as lots of photos of him having fun out on his walks and then snoozing happily when he got back. Would highly recommend and definitely use again.
This is the second time that our dog has stayed with Dawn over Christmas. Her stay was brilliant, with lots of photos and video of walks and playtime, and even a couple of Christmas presents for her! We can heartily recommend Dawn and her family.
Our dog stayed for a couple of nights. She has come back tired but happy. Impressed with Dawn, happy to leave our dog with her again.
I cannot recommend Dawn highly enough. As a first time dog owner she put me at ease about leaving Peggy for the first time and has given me lots of helpful tips and advice. Peggy had a wonderful time and I had lots of photos and updates about her day while we were away. It’s nice to feel like she’s having a holiday too!

One requirement for all my visitors is that they are sociable and friendly with both other dogs and people. I regularly have multiple dogs at a time and I love to watch them play and socialise together. I also ensure all my dogs are fully vaccinated, including kennel cough.

A typical day
I typically walk the dogs twice a day, once in the morning and once after lunch. These often consist of long walks in and around the Salisbury Plain area - which include woodlands, rivers, open meadows and anywhere I know to be dog friendly and safe. When we are not out of the house, the dogs are free to roam inside and outside due to the nature of my garden.
