Hello! I just moved back to NYC from DC. I'm originally from TN and have two dogs there that currently live with my parents. I'm an animal lover who can't commit to having a dog full time, so I'm look for a chance to spend sometime with some furry friends! I work full time but fully remotely. So I’m able to board during the week usually and still spend a lot of time with your pets. If you’re close to my apartment, i can also do drop by walks during the week day. I've been around pets most of my life and I worked part-time as a dog sitter during college. I have a preference for the smaller dogs but I'm interested in any opportunities. I also have used to rover to care for dogs for several years now. I live in Midtown East near Peter Detmond Park which is great for walks. Depending on the location and timing, I’m willing to travel across NyC. If you're dog enjoys running, I'm happy to go for a run with him/her. Please reach out if you have any questions!

I had a family emergency on the eve of a holiday weekend and Davis stepped up on short notice to take care of my little guy while I was dealing with a messy situation. Davis was flexible, accommodating, cheerful and patient. Knowing that I had one less thing to worry about with my doggie in safe hands made a massively unpleasant weekend a lot more bearable. David was very kind and played with my puppy for 3 hours. I was really happy with the care and attention he took with my brand new puppy ? I would definitely recommend him! He was excellent!
Davis was so wonderful with our French Bulldog, Jacques! He kept us updated with photos and checked in everyday. Jacques loved his stay with Davis and we definitely look forward to having Jacques stay with Davis in the future!
I was apprehensive about leaving My Special Little Guy with an internet rando but Davis was beyond anything I could have wished for. He asked a lot of questions and patiently noted and followed my tedious instructions. My darling Sammy has some behavioral challenges that might test the mettle of a lesser caretaker but Davis cheerfully took everything in stride. He kept me updated on his adventures with Sammy and sent lots of photos of Sammy looking happy and relaxed in every one, to the point where I started to get the feeling that Sammy might prefer to stay with Davis forever rather than come home with me. More than anything, I wanted Sammy to feel safe and loved, and I have no doubt that Davis made sure of it. Davis is communicative, responsive, easy to work with, flexible and friendly and I energetically recommend him for your pet care needs.

A typical day
I wake up, go for a walk with any pets I’m watching, then start my work day. I usually work 9-6 and after that I might have evening plans. I’ll be sure to walk any dog I’m watching before leaving and after returning.
