Pet care experience
I've taken care of and loved animals since I was old enough to be trusted with the responsibility! I have experience taking care of a wide variety of furry friends ranging from family pets (cats, dogs, rats, birds, fish) to farm animals (horses, cows, goats, pigs) and even rehabbing local wildlife (opossum, squirrel, deer)! I can administer medication and easily accommodate elderly animals.

Davis is a long-time friend who has loved pets all his life! In addition to owning all types of pets throughout the years, he has years of experience working around animals and he recently held a position as the primary caretaker for dozens of farm animals. He is extremely sweet and loving, very responsible and mature (yet he is still so fun!). I'm currently renting a small house that unfortunately will not allow me to keep pets at my own home overnight. I am willing to house and dog-sit overnight at your home, as needed. I don't smoke and I'm very clean. Additionally my parents live nearby, in large home with a large yard, and have three dog-friendly pups of various breeds and sizes. I often spend afternoons there and could bring your pup along! I live near a huge park and am very active, but I also enjoy relaxing at home and working on my laptop, therefore I can easily entertain and provide company to a wide range of old, young, active, or disabled pets.

I have no breed preferences but before dog-sitting a new friend, I would like to know of any concerns relating to situational aggression or unease (e.g., around other dogs/cats, food bowls or toys, when in their crate or near the fence/point of entry). I would also like to know their usual demeanor so that I can best accommodate their needs and identify any unusual behavior (e.g., are they active and friendly or a shy couch potato?).
A typical day
If appropriate for your dog, we can enjoy walks in the neighborhood and park, short runs, social outings, games of chase and tug-of-war, pets and love, visits to the dog park, enrichment and practice of obedience training and tricks.

Availability
My main job is seasonal, usually running from late March to early November, therefore I will have full-time availability throughout December and into the new year, including the holidays too! My schedule will remain flexible and I am able to provide both long-term and short-term services.
